About The Libraries

The Libraries is a set of function spaces in the heritage Masonic and Buckland Buildings at The Hotel Britomart, 29 Galway Street, Britomart. Brick walls, a stone bar and artworks by Ralph Hotere and Shane Cotton set the scene in The Lounge.

Weddings can include a ceremony in the Papuke Room for up to 50 guests, a cocktail hour in The Libraries Lounge, then a seated reception dinner back in the Papuke Room. Elopements and micro-weddings can be held in one of three terraced Landing Suites.

Couples can continue the celebration with a stay at the hotel, and a personalised code gives 15% off. Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and restroom are noted, along with a hearing loop.
