About Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant

Mudbrick Vineyard and Restaurant is a winery and wedding venue on Waiheke Island, 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland. Handcrafted mudbrick buildings sit among mature gardens and vines with sea views.

Weddings here include a ceremony rehearsal, pre-wedding planning, a dedicated wedding co-ordinator and a wedding dinner cooked by the restaurant kitchen. Guests can be placed in accommodation, with properties managed both on site and off site.

Nick and Robyn Jones started the business as the Mudbrick Cafe in 1995, and it has grown into a vineyard with restaurants, a rooftop bar and a cellar door. Wines come from vineyards at the western end of the island and at Onetangi, and tastings are led by the cellar masters.
