About Waiheke Island Resort
Waiheke Island Resort sits on a hillside above Palm Beach and overlooks Mawhitipana Bay and the Hauraki Gulf. It is the largest accommodation provider on the island, with more than 50 properties onsite, including seaview studios, apartments and villas.
Facilities include a panoramic pool, spa, licensed bar and restaurant and mini golf, and it also runs conferences and retreats. The team handles weddings and events, from intimate ceremonies to elaborate gatherings, with canapes, buffet and set menus that can be personalised.
The island is a 45 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland, and e-bikes are available for hire. A conference and accommodation package is offered for groups, and guests can reach most of the island's interior by e-bike on one charge.
